The Seattle Poker Open was conceived as a learning tool for the game of poker.  You can play for free 3 nights a week, with a different structure each night, with no monetary risk.  This provides tremendous opportunity to enhance your game, by playing against new opponents, and trying out different stategies... all with no financial recourse.

For those league members that would like to contribute to the growth and success of the league, we offer our VIP Membership.  For a nominal fee per season, you will have even more tools available to you to bring your game to the next level.  We've worked up a complete package of benefits that cater to the student of the game, and also say 'Thank You' for your support:

VIP MEMBERSHIP - $50/Season ($25 for Students*):

Qualify for the Standings - By becoming a VIP Member, you will put yourself in the competition with the serious players.  All your points will be tabulated and displayed in the stats section, and you will automatically be eligible for the Weekly Points Leader competition and the Season Championship.  These two prizes alone can be worth THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in potential cash winnings (SPO players regularly cashed in past seasons in local turnaments that they won  seats in, totaling over $85,000 to date).

Custom Stats - We've worked with Redline Poker and created a custom experience like no other.  VIP Members have the benefit of having their own Stat's page, with a complete history of every event they've played in for the current season.

Special Events Guarantee - All VIP Elite Members will have first opportunity for registration in every Special Event held.  Special Events are the only SPO events that have cash prizes, and they usually fill up rather quickly.

Private Cash Games at Tulalip Casino - VIP Elite Members will also be eligible for bi-monthly cash games at Tulalip Casino.  These games will be held on private tables and will only allow other SPO VIP Elite Members.  (games will be held "on-demand" and RSVP is required)

Free Player Reports - Player reports can help the student player tremendously.  It contains all your tournament data so you can track your progress over the course of many tournaments.  You can also find potential weaknesses by finding commonalities from tournament to tournament... all things you may not notice when evaluating each game independently.

*Student Discounts require a student ID that is valid for the entire season the VIP Membership is purchased for.

We can accept cash or check in person at one of our events.  Unfortunately due to PayPal's unwillingness to recognize written confirmation from the State of Washington,
we can no longer accept credit/debit cards.

Please note that your entire tournament history and all points are tabulated every time you play regardless of membership status.  Once you purchase a VIP Membership, all past points/stats, as well as all other VIP perks, will become visable (please allow 24-48 hours).
