Sunday, DECEMBER 10TH, 4pm
Tulalip Casino
On December 10, 2006, the top 32 players from the Fall '06 Season will compete for huge prizes and bragging rights. This tournament will be played in Tulalip Casino's Poker Room, complete with their tables and their dealers. This will be an invitational event, and only those VIP members who have earned their seat will receive the coveted invitation.
To earn an invitation, you must be ranked in the top 9 in at least one of the 3 Divisions. The top player in each of the Wild Card Races will also receive an invitaiton. To balance off the field to 32 players, there will be a seat given to the 2 winners of the Special Events, and 1 "scholarship" seats. Please keep in mind that only VIP Members will be eligible for an invitation.
Should a player qualify for an invitation by being ranked in the top 9 of more than one Division, they will earn an extra 1000 starting chips for each division after their first. In addition, they will open up an invitation in the Divsion they are ranked lowest in, for another player to qualify.

-
1st Place will receive the Champion's Trophy, and a free buy-in for Tulalip's December Monthly Tournament (Top Prize is tickets to the Superbowl)
-

Invitations will be emailed by Thursday December 7th. YOU MUST REPLY NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT DEC. 8th. If you have not replied within that time, your seat will be given to the next qualifying player in the Division you qualified from.
The Championship event will be played with 32 players, across 4 tables. All players will start with 3000 in chips (unless you've earned more - see above). and the blinds will follow the structure of our Extended Format. All SPO rules will be in effect and are expected to be adhered to.
In addition, there will be a No Limit Cash Game following the Championship. This will be similar to our VIP-Only cash games. Minimum buy-in is $50 and the maximum is $100, with blinds a constant $1/$2. Any SPO player, regardless of VIP status or whether you played in the Championship or not, can come up and play in the cash game. If you haven't qualified for the Championship, come up and watch the action and then sit down and play for real money with the folks you've played all season with!
