The SPO is now offering a Bad Beat Jackpot. This pool of points will grow EVERY NIGHT that it is not hit. The following are the guidelines and qualifications that must be met to qualify for the Jackpot:
Jackpots seed with 100 points
50 points will be added at the end of every tournament night if the jackpot has not been hit.
You must have a Full house of 8’s Full or better (three 8's with any pair or better) beaten to qualify for the Jackpot.
Both hands must have both hole cards in play to qualify
4 or more players need to have received cards at the beginning of the hand to qualify.
The hands must go to a showdown to qualify
Payouts of the Jackpot are as follows:
50% of the Jackpot goes to the Loser of the hand (8’s Full or better)
25% of the Jackpot goes to the Winner of the hand
25% of the jackpot will be split evenly among the remaining players at the table who were dealt into the hand.
When you feel that a hand qualifies for the Jackpot, please stop play and call the Tournament Director over before collecting the cards for the next deal. Current Jackpots are listed at the bottom of each night's standings list for that division.
